Combining the power of solid carbon block filtration with a unique, proprietary blend of additional filter medias, WaterChef’s innovative Big Block™ Filtration technology maximizes contaminant reduction and delivers up to 1,000 GALLONS (3,785 L) of freshly filtered water with a single cartridge! Intelligent Monitoring takes the guesswork out of cartridge replacement. Unlike other systems with simple timer-based monitors, WaterChef’s Intelligent Monitor measures actual usage, so you will never discard a cartridge prematurely, or continue using one that has exceeded its rated capacity again. The monitor’s LED indicators are conveniently located on the top of system – GREEN: normal system operation, YELLOW: less than 10% of filter capacity remains (it’s time to order a replacement cartridge), and RED: filter capacity has been reached (install new cartridge to insure peak performance). It’s that easy!

Easy to Install
The WaterChef Premium Filter connects directly to your kitchen faucet without the use of tools in just minutes! This system is ideal for apartments or anywhere a permanent under counter plumbing connection is prohibited. A diverter valve lets you choose between freshly filtered and ordinary tap water.

To Install:
Your WaterChef filter connects easily and quickly without any tools. It connects to the faucet and remains connected once installed.
Just undo the aerator at the tip of your faucet and replace it with the WaterChef aerator which has the diverter switch (see photo below). When you turn on your faucet the water will run as normal. When you want to use the WaterChef, you gently pull the diverter switch towards you and the water then is diverted to the filter and comes out the WaterChef faucet.
