Eco-Tuff 2-Part WB Clear Epoxy Primer

For use with Eco-Tuff Non-Skid Safety Coating Item 1981 , Eco-Tuff Industrial Coating Item 2024 and Eco-Tuff High Traffic Clear Coat Item 2027

A specially formulated primer coat for our acrylic-urethane safety coatings that penetrates and seals to provide moisture vapor protection while creating a chemical bond with the topcoat floor coating for maximum adhesion. May be used on damp concrete. Acts as a tough abrasion resistant compound and withstands wear and chemical attack in a variety of applications.


The ES-EP-CP10 is a two-part waterbased clear primer for concrete and wood surfaces. It is non-toxic, low VOC and virtually odorless. To be installed over properly prepared substrates. Easy one coat application. Compatible with most high performance finish coatings.,

Eco-Tuff 2-Part W.B. Clear Epoxy Primer/Sealer is a low VOC, high performance waterproof bonding sealer for interior and exterior applications. It is a two component system used for concrete, wood, fiberglass and previously painted surfaces. This product offers superior sealing and adhesion of topcoats for the most demanding coating requirements. It is suitable for heavy use and extreme moisture areas including subermersible applications when applied properly.

PRIMERS

Primers are an integral part of our coatings system. The following primers have been tested and are available through Eco-Safety Products. Water Based Epoxy Concrete & Wood Primer - ( Part # ES-EP-CP10): CP10, is a water based, two component epoxy primer. Designed for heavy use and extreme moisture areas. Can be applied to damp concrete surfaces. CP10 takes slightly longer to cure, but is by far our best primer for concrete, wood and painted surfaces. Allow 6 hours for proper cure before applying the topcoats. Apply topcoats within 48 hours of primer application. Water Based Metal Primer - (Part # ES-EP-MP10): MP10 is a water based, single component corrosion inhibiting primer. Designed for interior and exterior metal applications. MP10 can also be used on concrete and wood.

Primer Installation:

Properly clean prepare substrate to completely remove all contaminants. Repair all damaged areas. The coating system will only be as good as the substrate. To mix 1 gallon units: Use electric or air mixer (approx 250-500 rpm) with metal mixing blade (Jiffy Model HS or equal). Mix only amount the amount needed as the recommended pot life is 90 minutes. Pour hardener contents into slack-filled resin can and mix for 2-3 minutes until material is thoroughly blended and emulsified. To mix 5 gallon units: Use same procedure as 1 gallon units except a larger blade (Jiffy Model ES or equal) is required. Working out of a paint or bucket with grid, apply material to surface using a 3/8" nap roller cover. Product can be topcoated in 6 hours @ 72F (22C)
