Palms produce nuts for up to 80 years, then non-producing palms are removed and replaced. Coconut palm lumber can vary greatly in color and density. We use only the hard, dark palm for our look and durable surface.
As the rainforest continues to be tapped for timber needs, coconut palms have been an overlooked and under utilized resource. We hope that through our work palm will one day be recognized as a valuable building resource and help reduce rainforest harvesting.

Durapalm® palmwood flooring is made from multiple layers of palm, creating both a stable and durable flooring product of great beauty. These tongue and groove planks come in lengths from two to six feet in length and are provided as unfinished or prefinished flooring.
Durapalm can be installed by either a nail-down or glue-down method following procedures laid out by NOFMA, National Oak Floor Manufacturer's Association, and the NWFA, National Wood Flooring Association.
Durapalm palmwood flooring is easy to maintain using industry standard cleaning and maintenance procedures.
