Whats the AFM Naturals difference?
Just like AFM Safecoat and SafeChoice products, AFM Naturals are formulated to embrace the best of two worlds: the safest available ingredients combined with the superior protection for wood that only oil gives. As an example, AFM Naturals Clear Penetrating Oil uses no cobalt based drying agents or citrus (dlimonene) solvents. It contains much lower VOC content than other oils, and its non-aromatic isoaliphate is a cosmetic grade (safe for skin contact) ingredient that doubles as the primary component in AFM Naturals Diluent/Reducer (item #1531).

Use On: Unsealed or weathered fencing, decks, timber framing, furniture, paneling and trim.
Coverage: Varies depending upon the type, age, and porosity of the wood and on the number of coats applied. Test patches will provide a good indication of likely coverage. In general, when applied in wet-on-wet coats to weathered wood, one gallon will cover from 125 square feet to 250 square feet; on new, relatively non- porous wood, from 250 - 450+ square feet. If necessary or desired, AFM Naturals Penetrating Oil may be thinned with AFM Naturals Diluent/Reducer (item #1531). Thinning may improve flow, absorption and drying, but will reduce solids, potentially affecting performance.
Drying/Curing Time: Under normal conditions (70 degrees F and 50% humidity) and with good ventilation, wood treated will be dry and ready for use in 24 - 48 hours. Allow two to three weeks for full product cure.
