The Austin Healthmate Plus model looks just like the HealthMate HM-400. The difference is the added Potassium Iodide. Healthmate Plus models have Potassium Iodide in addition to the carbon and zeolite blend for extra chemical and odor absorption.

Built into every HealthMate are the highest levels of filtration media available today. True HEPA filtration material will remove particulate contaminants, while activated carbon and zeolite effectively eliminate harmful gases and noxious odors.
