One of the highest quality water-based clear gloss finish available today. Its exceptional durability and abrasion resistance, coupled with high solids, very low odor, and very low VOC, make it the clear alternative to conventional solvent and water-based polyurethanes.
Use On:Wood, metal, concrete, furniture, cabinetry, floors & display fixtures.
Coverage: Approximately 350 square feet per gallon in one coat depending on method of application and surface porosity.
Drying/Curing Time: Dries to touch in one hour, is sandable after two hours and is re-coatable after 4 hours. The product will continue to cure and become harder over time; avoid traffic and heavy use for at least 24, preferably 48 hours after application.
Satin Finish: To achieve a satin finish on wood, you must apply at least one thin coat of Polyureseal BP Gloss followed by one or two coats of Safecoat Polyureseal BP Satin.

As a person with multiple chemical sensitivity , sometimes even the most well-known "non-toxic" products cause me to have allergic reactions. It is often quite worrisome to try new products. For that reason I have come to rely on Tom Chasm and HealthyHome products for help that has been crucial to my health and wellbeing. HealthyHome's AFM Safecoat paint is the only paint I have been able to use, among all the "special” non-VOC paints (I tried 10 of them!).
Also, I react very badly to polyurethane and looked to Tom for help. The AFM Safecoat Polyureseal BP was the only product I could use to coat my 2600 square feet of new hardwood floors without any adverse reaction whatsover. This was amazing to me!
Additionally, The Airfree Onix 3000 air purifiers really did make rooms free of musty, mold and mildew smells. These and other products, along with Tom's guidance and advice have taken the worry out of home buying, home maintenance and home building for me!
